September Snapshots

Celebrated Labor Day at cedarville, a tradition for the last almost 9 years! Went with the Brights and saw some other friends. Then drove down to Myrtle Beach for a week where we enjoyed each other and were be to visit with Uncle Josh for about 24 hours. Such a treat! We came home and then turned around and headed to St. Louis where Josh had a conference. We were able to see extended family and do some site seeing: the Arch, the zoo, the butterfly house...

We finally came home for good and started Godly Play/ Preschool for Ella. I lost my wallet on the way home, and spent the rest of the month figuring that out. And wrecked the car on the first day after Godly Play. Because losing the wallet wasn't fun enough.

For a while Daddy started helping Avila go to sleep while Mama helped Ella

In the elevator to go to the top of the Arch

This one's for Grampa - Cardinal's Stadium!

At the Butterfly House - this girl is quick! She caught a butterfly in an instant!

Visiting with Aunt Donna

St. Louis Zoo

I remember when Raja was born and they had a naming contest, he just had his own baby this spring!

Kind of crazy to take Ella to see an elephant that I loved when I was little

7 Months

14#13
Cruising
Clapping
Babbling - mama, baba, nana, yaya, maba,
You wave while saying "bye bye" and, when upset, come crawling to me saying "Mama!" I know they say you're too young to actually be saying words, but we're not convinced. You seem intentional.
Trying new foods here and there, but your tummy doesn't seem to agree with them.
You laugh at Ella with glee.
You generally just SO happy and still love people and quite social.
Making fart sounds on Mama's shoulder (or leg or anywhere else you can get your mouth on) is a favorite.
