Myrtle Beach

We took our very first family vacation that did not revolve around other family or a wedding. Social media was banned. It was a beautiful week with great weather.

Ella loved building castles in the sand, playing in tide pools, looking for shells, reading books, mini golf, the aquarium, and Uncle Josh. Avila loved eating sand, splashing in the waves, licking the salty water, gumming shells, eating sand, sitting in the tide pools, riding on the boat tour, and eating sand. Mostly she loved eating sand. 

We ate some fantastic seafood - read: crab legs and butter. Went on a dolphin cruise and saw some...shrimp. Josh took nightly walks by the ocean to walk Avila to sleep. Uncle Josh came down for a night and a day. It was SO wonderful to see him. We also met up with one of Daddy's coworkers and his family. So glad we were able to take the time together.
