Tonight is the evening of Good Friday. The night on which the Eucharist was instituted. The night the King of kings knelt down to wash the dirty feet of fishermen. The night our Lord shed tears of blood while His disciples slept. The night betrayal was embodied in the intimacy of a kiss. The night the alter is stripped bare. The night we dread before the dawn of our mourning.
